Found an old photo

To day was really strange in that for some reason even though jo's sister had said dont worry about tidying her room (some of us actually like to clean and tidy up) gem felt the need to sort out one box.

she did this and in doing so found an envelope in which were several photos, one of which was one gem had taken years ago of our nan with her dog Mr Chips sitting together in a chair, our nan has been passed for some time now and so while on the one hand it made gem and us all happy to have found it, it also made many sad as they realised how they miss the time they used to spend with her.

the where-abouts of this photo had bothered gem for years and many a time has she looked for it, jo remebers giving it to her mother some time ago when we had to move in a hurry, along with some other things including our birth certificate and money in a purse. her mother says jo never gave her any thing an she never had the items, some time ago she told jo she needent of sent off for her birth certificate as she had it, now it would seem she has had the photo and given it to jo's sister along with some other photos of our nan,

It is this photo that means so much to gem and some of the others as it was the only one they ever had, we are happy to now have a picture of our grandfather and one of our grandmother too, there just doesnt seem to be one of them together after nan started to get signs of her MS. so the only ones of them together are of when they were younger and not how we remember them looking,

it is nice to have a picture of Mr Chips too, he was a great dog that did so much to help nan with out being trained to do so, he would pick things up for her if she droped them, go and get the post, take himself for a walk, and sit in the chair like an old man. he was named after the old police programe called Chips wich nan was so fond of, but this happened becase he arrived as a small puppy right in the middle of an episode,

so feelings are mixed tonight, well this morning, i have just realised its 2.30am so its now monday morning. we have some things to do, gem was going to take the washing out the machine and i was going for a ciggie, so i think its time one of us did it,
